Sept 2025:
Kovu was chained outside a house 24/7, deprived of every basic need – no fresh water, little food, no flea or tick treatment, no love, no attention… He was just a piece of furniture.
When he came into our care, we took him straight to the clinic, where he tested positive for anaplasma, anaemia, and liver damage. He was also emaciated.
Nov 2025:
Kovu has made a good recovery, and is now a much healthier weight. He’s moved to the farm, and he’d love to find a forever home of his very own.
