Josh

Josh was found with old scabs, new wounds, a body that smelled like infection, covered in fleas and ticks… Thrown onto the street because he was “dirty.” The pictures don’t actually emphasise just how skinny this poor boy was.

Josh desperately needed some TLC. He still needs to gain more confidence but that will come… It’s still early days, and it’s no surprise he is wary of people. But he sure does love some kisses with Dr Amira. She’s so patient and understanding, all the dogs that meet her adore her.

Hopefully it wont be long until Josh is fully recovered from the blood parasites and mange, which means he can then start looking for his forever home.

Update August 2025

Josh has made a good recovery, and he’s ready to look for his forever home!
He gets along well with other dogs, and he’s sensible enough to live with children.
And Josh loves cats! The clinic he was in had lots of cats, and he loved to lie there and watch the kittens.
