Lulu

We think this angel was assaulted by a human. A woman we know in Egypt had been feeding her and some other street dogs for a while, but for two days, this beautiful dog disappeared. Which was completely out of character.

 

After two days, she reappeared. But her personality changed. Suddenly she was scared, she wouldn’t come close, she wouldn’t take food… But then it was clear there is some kind of injury on her behind.

 

What was once a trusting lovely girl suddenly turned so scared. The thought of what happened to this poor dog in those two days is gut-wrenching. The lady who fed her brought her to us, where she’s being treated for lameness in her back legs and ehrlichia blood parasites. She’s gradually learning to trust again, starting with the staff in the vet clinic.

 

We hope that soon Lulu will be able to look for a forever family who will love her as much as we do.

 

 

Lulu is still having some treatment on her legs, but we’re also ready to start the search for her forever home.

She’ll need a caring, special owner who understands her past and is willing to show her the future is bright.
