Cyrus

Cyrus was abandoned on the street in Tunisia, not a country we usually work in, but we agreed to help.

Cyrus is in the vet clinic, being treated for blood parasites (ehrlichia) and anaemia, plus he’s receiving steroid injections for his legs due to severe muscle wastage causing pain and weakness. Cyrus also suffers from leishmaniasis, and is also receiving treatment for this. We hope to bring him to Egypt in the interim, and then to the UK.

October 2025

After months of rehabilitation and trials and tribulations, Cyrus made his way to Egypt to our base.
Cyrus is just perfect.
He is a big boy, but has the biggest heart. He has so much love and loyalty.
He will follow you everywhere , just like velcro.
Huge softy. He will want to sleep on your bed, lay by your feet, follow your every move and go wherever you go.
Very lazy, he enjoys his sleep and will make himself comfy on the sofa.
Doesn’t require massive walks as due to his past his back legs are not perfect.
He will require joint supplements and possibly pain relief as he ages.
Cyrus gets on well with ALL dogs, cats, children.
He is perfect in every way.
