Fil Fil

Fil Fil was one of our lifetime residents ❤️
He had barely has any teeth, and the teeth he did have were worn down from eating stones.
Fil Fil came to us with tumours, and surgery was not a option due to his age and the position of the tumours – the worst one was right next to an artery, making surgery extremely risky even in a young, healthy dog.
Fil Fil was happy, he enjoyed taking slow walks around the farm garden, checking on all the dogs and making sure they were behaving. He loved his cuddles with the humans who rescued him ❤️
Fil Fil lived on the street his whole life, his teeth estimated him at around fifteen years old.
Fifteen years of having to scavenge for food and sleep on the street.
For his last months, Fil Fil had two meals a day, he was safe away from harm, away from traffic, and he could sleep without fear.
Sadly, in August 2025, the tumour on his back leg grew too big to manage, and we peacefully said goodbye to him in the garden he loved so much.
